Gloria Jean Watkins also known as “Bell Hooks” is an American author and social activist who focuses on gender, race, capitalism, class domination and other systems of oppression. Bell hooks argument is on voice inequality for all scholars. The strategy has been on the emphasis of creating classrooms in learning communities where each and every voice can be heard, and their presence valued and recognized.
Pedagogy teachings have really emphasized on the issue of coming to voice. That matter has emerged as central focus, because it is so evident that class privilege, sex, and race, grant authority to some voices more than others do.
