One of the best novelists of all-time, Harper Lee, published the novel, “To Kill a Mockingbird” in 1960, which was nominated and won the 1961 Pulitzer Prize. It tells about a deviant story that gives an in-depth understanding of prejudice and racism in the Americas.
This novel has portrayed a broad spectrum of personalities, and one of them is Arthur “Boo” Radley. In the story, Radley is a differently-abled man, literary and literally. His dignity has been stained by a rumour around the small town about the allegations concerning his “monstrosity.” Little did the townsfolk know about his real backstory (Harper & Spacek, 1996).
