Art Article
The article by Will Heinrich, The Alphabet That Can Do Anything, explores the wealth of Arabic writing in virtual art. In particular, the author compares paintings from the Arab world to present the power of the Arabic alphabet in the art (Heinrich). According to the author, the Arabic alphabets are flexible, allowing the artist to manipulate it into different forms (Heinrich). For example, simple alphabetic characteristics of the swoops, loops, and dots can be drawn to represent a horse or a televisions screen (Heinrich). This flexibility makes Arabic alphabets unique and worth better attention in the art world.
