Reading Analysis Response: No Rich Kid Left Behind
Sean F. Reardon argued in his article that the socioeconomic status of a family is a powerful indicator of academic success among students. I strongly agree with Reardon's claim because of the better preparedness of high-income families over the low-income ones in investing in their children’s cognitive development. I agree that poverty is a hindrance to academic excellence.
