The cash economy majorly influences the current food trends. Food production is closely associated with the economic performance of a nation or the ability of an individual to invest in agriculture. It has, therefore, been monetized.
Foods of Environment and Economic Significance
1. Cassava Dishes: Cassava has both high economic and ecological value. Cassava is one of the popular crops in Africa as it performs well in severe environmental conditions (Anderson 85). In most of the West African restaurants, it is served with vegetables, beef, chicken, and fish stews. Through value addition, cassava is made profitable food as the end product is used as baking flour for bread and production of other pastries.
