It is undeniable that racism plays a significant role in politics, and this can be seen in the political development of America and other parts of the world. Racism is acknowledged as a global challenge that has affected world politics and how people are governed. Throughout the history of the United States, the race has been a significant force and determinant in the way people vote. In the early conquests of American, the natives were killed because racist individuals claimed that they were advancing civilization. The white supremacy in American politics was entrenched by the founders and defined people of African origin as property. In the following years, there were laws formulated against Chinese and other non-white individuals. This was the epitome of white supremacy. For hundreds of years, white Americans have continued to enjoy the unrivaled political privilege that descendants of former slaves, Chinese Americans, and Japanese Americans have never enjoyed. While there are class divisions across the United States, race politics have continued to dominate the scene and have influenced the governance system of the United States (Wasow).
