Charlie Chaplin's role in the video depicts the ordinary American worker. The roaring 1920s was characterized  by a  series of great inventions of technology which led to mass production. The advent of mass consumerism further intensified the mass production of all kinds of technologies to meet the growing demand. As a result workers were subjected to harsh working conditions and worked for odd hours to keep the wheel of capitalism rolling.

QUESTION 1

This image depicts the union organization upheavals experienced during the wake of the First World War. During workers' riots seeking freedom, security, and higher wages from the union organizations, the image was captured. A significant percentage of the population is workers with the right to self-government that they denied for so long. The workers marched, demanding better wages and good working environments. Through concessive marches, the workers echoed their mandate to restructure the union organizations to achieve industrial democracy. These marches emerged due to a loss of hope in the government to implement its promises to eradicate inequality in the economic community. These workers shared a long-standing belief that industrial democracy was only possible through concessive marches and campaigns to weaken the economic prowess of the union organization

Hoover and Franklin are among the founding presidents of the United. Although the shared the same ideals on liberty and true freedom they policies differ varies greatly.  President Franklin was a transformational leader and leveraged existing resources to implement economic policies. One of the fundamental ways Franklin D. Roosevelt endeavored to achieve liberty was providing equal rights. President Hoover is one of the most controversial men in the history of America. To many, he is an icon, a revolutionary, troublemaker, and a real American who envisioned a country free of social class. President Herbert Hoover embodies a Laissez-Faire leadership style. President Hoover believed in the morality of financial institutions. Hoover was not reluctant to tap into Government resources to solve the emerging financial resource. President Hoover implemented indestructible action to beat all odds to liberate his people from the chains of poverty such as bullying corporations to venture into new markets amidst the stock market crash during his reign in office.
