Thesis Statement and Three Supporting Points History Essay

Essay Instructions:

Please write a thesis statement and 3 supporting points for an art history paper. I attached the paper guidelines in additional files area. The paper is about to research an object, and to discuss the legacy of history, how it was made, why it was designed as this way, how it was relevant to modern design. The object I choice was Nikon's SP3 film camera, if you don't find sources directly about the object, you can look for something externally, such as materials, years, movements etc. you can also think about politics, economy, technology, fashion, history.
I have some thoughts about the directions you can go to:
Nikon SP3 was made in 1957 during middle century, as extend research, you can look at middle century modern design as background, and maybe look through camera stripe, lens, material (metal); who used the camera (journalist? reporter?...); or talk about films; size of camera, if it was affordable for people during the period of time.
Based on these thoughts, I've done some researches, I found 3 books, if you just happen to have available resources looking through them, may be helpful for you. Here is the info:
Ang, Tom. Photography: the Definitive Visual History . DK Publishing, 2014. (This one have info about photography)
Bradbury, Dominic. Mid-Century Modern Complete . Thames & Hudson, 2014. (This talked about mid century modern design and history, it had a lot info about chair design, it can be a reference to think about background and movement)
Raizman, David Seth. History and Modern Design: Graphics and Products since the Industrial
Revolution . Laurence King Publishing, 2010. (This one covered many objects and art movements)
The above are my suggestions and my thoughts about how you can start the thesis, and based on the findings, to come up with supporting points. I know it's a lot of information, I try to be as specific as possible. Let me know if you need extra page, kindly request that.
Here is the thesis criteria:
When developing a good thesis statement focus on one main idea and provide specific information - think of it as a preview of what you are planning to say in the rest of the essay. Make your thesis statement a direct statement - state your point. Then, you will support it.
Your support relates directly to the thesis statement (main point). It should show, explain or prove your Thesis (main idea). Your support gives readers enough specific details, through examples, so that they can see what you mean.

The Nikon SP3
Even among high-end cameras such as the Nikon F5, F4, and historical masterpieces like the Nikon F, the Nikon SP3 is recognized as the “Best of Nikon.” The Nikon SP3 shares some characteristics with other Nikon cameras. All of them were manufactured as a reflection of the need to develop new-age cameras. Most of these cameras vanished, and their history is not well known. However, the Nikon SP3 has excelled and made a mark.
Why is the Nikon SP3 regarded as the best of Nikon? Released in 1957 by Nippon Kogaku, the Nikon SP3 was the first professional rangefinder camera. It has a 35 mm built-in finder. Nikon models made before and later were lesser cameras. Unlike today’s cameras, the insides of Nikon SP3 were all metallic. The model uses a solid machined-metal take-up spool and solid metal film sprocket. It does not have stainless-steel inserts on the...
