Introduction
The origin of human life has been explained by the use of Charles Darwin theory and the special creation theory. These two theories do align with each other and thus there have always occurred rivalry between the two. Darwin put in a lot of efforts to prove his theory of revolution. Among efforts that Darwin has put in to prove his theory include studying embryos and occurrence of new species from existing ones. The creationists have always tried to prove themselves right and thus Darwin had to provide evidences that the creationist theory cannot explainCITATION Cha08 \p 313-416 \l 1033 (Darwin and Quammen 313-416). This paper is going to focus on these examples from the start to the end. All the information in this paper has been formulated basing on the contents of chapter 13.
There have always been debates about whether the origin of human beings should be based on evolution theory or unique creation. This particular debate has been an issue for sometimes now from way back in history and up to date. The evolution theory is supported by scientists such as Charles Darwin while the special creation theory which beliefs in the occurrence of a supernatural being is supported by ChristiansCITATION Liv17 \p 34-39 \l 1033 (Live science 34-39). This subject has been discussed using different resources such as books and journals by both the evolutionist and creationist trying to defend their beliefs. An example of such a book is a book entitled Charles Darwin, On the Origin of Species. In this book, Darwin tries to defend his evolution theory using examples that the creationist cannot explain.
The first tangible example given in the course of this book is that of the slow succession and formation of new species. The succession and creation of new species have been accorded to evolution. The evolution is triggered by the natural environment due to the need to survive. The gradual change occurs over some generations where you find that an adaptation is transferred to the offspring. In the course of its lifetime, the family records different adaptations which are later transferred to its offspring. The process carries on to the following generations, and in the long run, new species of different genera and classes arise CITATION Liv17 \l 1033 (Live science). This tangible example cannot be explained by the creationist as their belief can explain the occurrence the changes in adaptation and also the occurrence of new species of both plants and animals.
There has occurred another support in Darwin's book which is on embryology. Darwin explains that there occurs a lot of similarity between the embryos of different species. This similarity cannot be explained by the special creation theory as despite these structures being similar at conception they literary develop into different organisms with different body structures.
