America First Energy Plan
The energy plan that was devised by Trump has some very significant flaws and misconceptions. It is clear that energy is one of the driving forces of the global economy, employing millions of people and a raw material in every other industry. The plan by Trump promises to protect the environment, however this is a misconception. While the plan states that it is going to refocus on the EPA, this is contradictory. Ideally, the interpretation of this approach is that, as far as the EPA does not interfere with the extraction of the natural resources, it will be supported (The White House).
It is also important to note that, it is not the introduction of the environmental regulations that reduced jobs, in the real sense they created massive employment. As such, giving the notion that by rolling back, there is going to job creation is misleading. As the renewable energy industry grows millions of jobs are being created (The White House). At the same time it important to note that, there aren’t many job prospects in the coal industry, unless the President plans to dismantle the environmental policies in place.
