High Education does not Guarantee Future Success
Work hard in your studies or you will end up in the minimum wage bracket. I’ve heard this statement a number of times and it always leaves me unsettled. According to the U.S. Department of Labor, 90 percent of the fastest-growing jobs in the future will require some postsecondary education or training. In some people's eyes, school is an indispensable element of success. Due to the high unemployment rate now, some young people believe that through the accumulation of licenses, knowledge can make future life stable. However, I do not believe that life requires one to study hard and get high academic qualifications because one can choose different ways or paths to success. For example, Steven Paul Jobs, the co-founder of Apple Inc, did not finish college but invented incredible smartphones. Bills Gates, a principal founder Microsoft Corporation, dropped out of Harvard University but at some point in his life, he became the most influential person in the world.
