Cabernet Sauvignon Red Wine
 Cabernet Sauvignon is one of the commonly grown red wines of the grape variety in the whole world. It is also the world's number one sought and searched after wine. It is of the Vitis vinifera species and the grapevine varietal. When it is appropriately vinified, Cabernet Sauvignon can form dry wine, fruit forward, complex, and full-bodied wine (Slinkard para 3b). Additionally, Cabernet Sauvignon grape grows in the Bordeaux area of France from where it has significantly derived its notoriety of 2009 vintage.
Sight Assessment
The classic features of Cabernet Sauvignon seem to be noticeable acidity with high tannins and full-bodied wines, which contributes to its aging latent. In colder climatic conditions, the wine produces green bell pepper notes, which can be accompanied by blackcurrant notes, cedar, and mint, which become more pronounced when the wine ages (Slinkard para.2b). However, in moderately cold climatic conditions, the wine's blackcurrant's notes often appear with clack olive and black cherry notes. In sweltering climates, the Cabernet Sauvignon wine’s blackcurrant flavors swerve towards jimmy and the over-ripe side.
Smell and taste
The most characteristic flavor and aromatic aspects of Cabernet Sauvignon include leather aromas, black pepper, lightly aromatic vanilla, moderately aromatic dark chocolate, warm spice aromas and flavors, black cherry and blackberry aromas, and a plum flavor.
