Everyone has an opinion about gambling. Betting is among those unavoidable facts of life. With increased rates of over-ambitious youths who want to get rich overnight, betting is absolute polarizing subject though it ought not to be. Betting culture has infiltrated deep into the core mind of our youths. Currently, millions of both young and senior men and women are participating in different forms of betting. Some fanatics of betting have established gambling as a way of earning a livelihood. The game of gambling features various types of wagering ranging from casino dice games, style cards to electronic games like poker. In some countries, gambling games are received contrarily different by their laws and regulations. Based on these controversies, incessant questions have raised as to whether gambling should be legalized or not. In case gambling is allowed constitutionally, the main questions remain on its possible benefits and ramifications in the society or the economy of a county. In respect to this, the essay herein explores the possible merits and demerits associated with legalization of gambling.
