Gladiator Movie Review
Directed by Ridley Scott, Gladiator is the story of a very proud soldier who is sold to slavery and therefore has to fight his way to freedom. The character, setting and costumes are so captivating that can repeatedly be watched. The emperor of Rome, Marcus Aurelia opts for Maximus over his son, Commodus as his heir. This angers Commodus that he strangles his father to death and takes over. Maximus' wife and son are killed under Commodus orders. He is captured and enslaved and trained to be a gladiator by Proximo.
The movie is intriguing as it is interesting, having both extremes. The storyline, costumes and graphics are all quite interesting. The main character, Russell Crowe, displays an immense commitment to the success of the movie, with himself...
