Institutional Mapping and Documentary Making and Writing
Theatre of the oppressed was created by Augusto Boal, a Brazilian theatre director, during the 1950s and 60s. He revolutionized various forms of theatre performances to fit the audience's needs for critical thinking, interaction, dialogue action, and fun (5). Theatre performances have since undergone an evolution, and better work is currently witnessed. Fraser (102) says that theatre performances reflect what is happening in the real world. It, therefore, means that it maps an institution that it represents.
The process of documentary making is complicated but doable when the producers have passion. It first has to reflect the reality in society. This is where the deconstruction of writing is. Here all the issues are analyzed and put down on shot hand points. The problems include the documentary's central theme is, the setting, resources, and production.
