As a Chief Learning Officer, in charge of all training at Macy’s Inc Company, I did research on the training programs of the retail store company. I found out that, the training programs the company had for the management and staff was computer generated, some were taught by facilitators and others done through video. The facilitators were educated and had the required expertise. The retail store has had ongoing training programs, which were done on a weekly basis. Every Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays were days that the training took place. Individuals will get to the point of sharing experiences and activities together. Negative activities are discouraged while positive ones are encouraged. This is an on-ongoing training process because the effects are to be felt in a longer duration.
