This session(Nov. 6th 18:00-19:00) I attended is about Peter Hancock, Former President and CEO of AIG. He talked about his experience and gave out advice.
here is some info that will help:
He majored in philosophy but changed to political economics later on. He ultimately chose to spend his life on finance. He was born in Britain, raised in Hong Kong. His advice on starting a business is find the people that have the same passion and interest, but do not look for people have same opinions on every small detail.
He is the Former CFO of J.P. Morgan and former CEO of AIG
He started a business with two famous businessmen(name did not mention). He said that when you start a business, do not panic to ask others for investment because people trust you when they invest you. He also said that if your business is mainly invested by yourself, that means you are arrogant and you will fail. And Peter learned this lesson from his own mistake. He also told me to accept and experience hardship because it is what makes people stronger.

Reflection of the Session
Last November 6, 2017, from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm, we were able to listen to a very successful and influential man in the field of business. His name is Peter Hancock, and during the session, I was able to learn a lot from him especially when it comes to the necessary mindset and determination that one has to go through to be able to be successful in one’s life. Peter Hancock has been the former CEO of one of the biggest financial services company in the whole world JPMorgan Chase & Co. as well as the former CEO of AIG or the American International Group CITATION Lov17 \l 1033 (Lovelace Jr.). In his discussion, he started with his own life story and said that back when he was in college, he majored in Philosophy, but changed to Political Economics later on. He also talked a little bit about his where he was born and how he was raised in London. Particularly, he connected his life experiences with how his ideals and principles were shaped, leading him to fulfill his own dreams.
Nonetheless, his first advice for those who want to enter the field of business is find people who have the same interests as you do. These people could be friends, family members, and/or even colleagues who have the same mindset and passion fo...
