The characters in both The Bitter Game and Ghost Dance face oppression as social distress in the society in the form of police brutality of black African-Americans and frustrations that come due to love that threatens the existence of a woman in the Indian society.
The oppression is one of the themes that come as a result of social distress within communities. The characters in both The Bitter Game and Ghost Dance embrace the social plight that they go through in their quest to gain a better life. The Ghost Dance play reveals a sarcastic man who speaks to two youths about a story of Indians and a woman who gets haunted...
