Marketing Plan: Galleries Exhibitions And Events (Essay Sample)
Create a Marketing Plan for the Zuccaire Gallery's current exhibition, “Time: MFA Thesis Exhibition.” How do you get the word out about the Gallery's exhibitions and events? Who is the intended audience (college students, faculty and staff, community members, etc.)? Design an advertisement, make a flyer, create a social media campaign, and/or describe the best way to reach out to people to let them know about our programs. (We are on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Snapchat - you may design for one of these or another platform.)
If you attended an artist's Salon talk or Art Crawl talk, you can include an image of this artist's work in your plan or include the ideas of their talk or artwork to lend excitement to your plan. How do you market this exhibition to your audience to engage them and get them to come to our free exhibitions and events?
For all exhibitions, there are always different individuals with varying priorities and interests that we are to reach. It may not be easy until we get to know everything about our target audience (Meikle 16). There are a couple of ways to find this audience, such as social media campaigns and placement of flexes or banners everywhere. We should bear in mind that not all viewers will positively respond to the same marketing channel or approach (Dahl 18).
For this exhibition (MFA Thesis Exhibition), we have planned to attract a large number of people through social media sites especially Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Snapchat. Ads will be run for a couple of days to keep the people aware of the exhibition. Our target audiences are fine art exhibition-goers and Pre-Raphaelite enthusiasts, but we intend to attract everyone from families to general museum visitors (Tuten 18).
