Daido Moriyama is a famous Japanese archetypal photographer. He stands tall in the 20th-century Japanese photography, and his trophy cabinet has distinguished awards. His magnificent works have not escaped the curiosity of an international audience; his photos are quite provoking and compelling, and this kind of artistry transcends local scenes. Daido Moriyama used his creativity, ingenuity, and the power of the camera to capture memorable historic moments in Japan. He vividly depicts post-war Japan, especially after the 1960s, when Japan had just emerged from the grasp of American military rule. The images that involve life experience in Tokyo are bold tales of socio-political status. Thus, Daido Moriyama's photographic work reflects Japanese modernization, which was characterized by changes in culture and merging urban life experience.
