Essay Instructions:

Hello,
I am a first-year undergraduate student. I study International Relations. Today I was given the task that I want to be completed in 2 hours (extension max 20-25min).
Below I leave all the requirements for the task:
1) The file with the task to be completed is named: TASK1
2) The task requires 1000 words for each answer, but I'd be satisfied with 825 words (3 pages) for both questions, i.e. 413 words for each answer from each section.
3)Since the task requires to answer one question from each section, I need you to answer only the 3rd question from section A and the 2nd question from section B. (If for some reason the writer does not like the questions, then it's fine to choose another one from the list).
4) I´ve attached the Module Handbook (p. 22-27) which contains all the necessary readings to answer these two questions. And I'd like various sources to be used if possible (such as web-pages, journals, ebooks).
5) I'd like at least 3-4 references to be left under each answer
7) Referencing must be completed in Harvard style. Referencing guide on how exactly this must be done is provided on pages 28-33 of the Moodle Handbook. Also, I want you to provide in-text citations and a proper reference list (not the bibliography) that does not count towards 825 wordcount. Please produce a SEPARATE reference list for EACH answer, i.e two reference lists, and place it at the end of that answer.
9) I've attached the sample of the answer. Please use the traditional essay format in the answer: Introduction -> Main body -> Conclusion -> Reference List.
10) The task must be completed in a single Microsoft Word file. Please use Times New Roman, 12pt, double spaced format. All pages must be numbered.
11) In case if the word count won't be met by the deadline, please anyway send me the assignment, so I'll be able to submit something to my uni. It's very important! Thanks.

Question A/3: “In what respects is the European Union a global actor? How favourably does its actorness compare to a great power's?”
The European Union is considered as a global actor because of the significant number of connections that it has all over the world. It is capable of gathering aid donors and a lot of trading partners in different industries. A positive factor in the system of the European Union as a global factor is its multilateralism as their strategy when giving solutions to common issues that arise. Although the European Union is considered as an economic giant, it is having issues with the political aspects in comparison to others, especially the United States of America.
Matters regarding foreign policies are also considered as one of the weaknesses of the European Union from a political perspective. It is not very favorable because of the separation that it currently has between the economic aspect and political aspect that should both be a concern for the European Union. Another issue is with regard to military resources that it has, which as a foreign policy actor is considered essential. This particular concern is compared to the United States of America, because of the military force and resources that they are capable of using when needed. The military component is a necessity for every state and any international organization involved with foreign affairs. Considering that the European Union is not a state but it also does not have the same capabilities and is not capable of being an influential and powerful foreign policy player.
The strengths that the European Union already has are still uneven with regard to the capabilities of its influence and power on global issues. Strategic decisions made by the European Union during the United Nations General Assembly have become more in line with each other presenting a certain focus, but it is only a quantitative factor and still requires major improvements especially when this concerns more important issues. The European Union is qualified to be included and have a voice in the United Nations, representing its organization in an international affair.
To be able to have an effective and efficient position as a global actor, the European Union should be able to analyze the system as to what the definition of an actor is in the glob...
