What did you do? 
Human resource teams deal with a lot of issues in the current organizational settings in the 21st century. We have multiple concerns: managing the people we are working with, dealing with our workloads, entailing salary complaints, and solving workplace conflicts. Empathy is essential in all these engagements for the resource teams to ensure they understand the origin of the person involved in an issue before making a judgment concerning a raising problem at work. Most of the engagement in the workplace involves multiple individuals from varying backgrounds. Thus, human resource teams should possess empathetic skills to communicate effectively with all targeted individuals' messages.
What did you learn from this? According to Munchy (2020), human resource professionals are responsible for the well-being of employees. At the same time, they should ensure that their broader concentration focuses on achieving organizational objectives. While the two aspects are primary for the organization and require attention, the human resource teams may not identify the issue that needs much focus. The achievement of organizational objectives is critical, but it cannot be attained without employees' participation. There must also be efficient communication between human resources and workers to achieve goals (Munchy, 2020). Thus, human resource managers should have empathetic skills to promote an effective working environment towards achieving goals. Have you/will you use this? e.g., during the course/at workAs a human resource manager, I work with various colleague managers with varying traits considering their organization employees' dealings. While some portray empathetic skills when communicating with other people or solving them, others do not. I will use the knowledge gained on the impact of empathetic skills to conform to the entire department to deal with each other and the people working around us with empathy. I intend to achieve the goal by implementing empathetic skills in all the communications made at work to be a role model in showing the use and impact of empathy. I believe the skill is excellent in ensuring a conducive working environment, and it is worth implementing to enhance healthy interactions. What do you want/need to learn? Although I know the implementation and sound impact of empathetic skills by human resources in all their dealings at work, I may influence the other managers to work with the skills by setting myself as an example.
