A partially sighted patient arrives 30 minutes early for her appointment for a skin problem and has to wait 40 minutes in the waiting room before being seen by a nurse. Eventually, the doctor arrived and briefly and asked the patient a few questions before calling in the nurse to give her a prescription for some antibiotics. As a result, the patient felt the doctor had not spent much time with her. The patient had no opportunity to voice her concerns. She had not been given a chance to ask the doctor for a sick note for her employer verifying that she was sick. The patient may have left the doctor's office feeling unsatisfied with the visit because she was still uncertain about what could have been the cause of her skin problem.
