The play was orchestrated during the Reform Movements of Liang Qichao, Kang Youwei and their supporters, an aspect that failed. The author of the story "The Small Teahouse with Big Society" examines the manner in which the cultural, political, economic, and social changes siphoned through the small teahouse of Beijing impacted this society. Thesis: This paper analyzes the three act play to determine the manner in which the author of this book succinctly paints a picture of the common culture by focusing on the basic aspects of public life.
