After the Civil War, the cattle industry has grown tremendously. From Colorado and Nebraska to Wyoming and Montana, a large number of cattle are used to feed human beings. In the 1880s, there were no significant ways to fortune as cattle barons in the United States. Later on, it was revealed that cattle are one of the safest and most beneficial investments, so their number needs to be increased as soon as possible. The Southwest had only a few cattle, and the Northeast had a far better number. Rich people joined the industry in the 1890s, and motion pictures, novels, books, and television series made it evident that cowboys would have to come forward and play their role in strengthening the cattle industry.
