I remember Salvador Dali for his magnificent paintings of melting clocks called "the persistence of Memory". The artist in his early ages, he could embrace the art of painting wherever he goes particularly while in school. He was passionate about his art with the open mind of learning more from his mentors like Picasso, Magritte, and Miro that led to his first surrealist phase. The artist further made the best painting by the name “The Persistence of Memory” showing melting clocks in a landscape setting. Despite the fact that Salvador Dali was not a serious student academically, he took his artistic work with lots of seriousness. The artist at his tender age explored various forms of art, for instance, classical painters like Raphael, Bronzino, and Diego Velazquez . I remember Dali for collaborating with senior artists like Luis Buñuel and expanding his artistic skills in filmmaking industries. In this regard the two films were the Un Chien Andalou (An Andalusian Dog) and L'Age d'Or (The Golden Age, 1930). Due to his determination in the field of art, Dali appeared later in another film of Alfred Hitchcock's Spellbound (1945), starring Gregory Peck and Ingrid Bergman. Dali’s paintings were employed in a dream sequence in the film and aided in establishing the background providing the highlights of solving the secret behind the character John Ballantine's psychological disorders. Also, he was best known to be a notorious figure in the surrealist movement. Dali as a surrealist member was able to produce the best movie which came to be the most famous. Dali was able to make a series of huge nineteen canvases that had historical, scientific and religious themes. He specifically referred to this work as Nuclear Mysticism. At those moments, his work of art took on a brilliant technical combination of meticulous details and without limits in his imaginations. I like his spirit of artistic work as he would incorporate holography, optical illusions, and geometry in his artworks. Much of Dali's works had images that reflected the use of geometry, hypercube, and also the themes of chastity. Some of the vital creations made include the Teatro-Museo Dali (Dali Theatre-Museum) in Figueres. The building of the Museum had initially housed the Municipal Theatre of Figueres .[Clements, Paul.
