However, main practices and assumptions dictate that IT security governance to be described as the fundamental security principles, the firm’s actions, and the accountability in ensuring that the firm’s goals are realized. The IT governance offers outcomes that are particularly emphasized on aligning the IT aspect with the organizations operations, including the IT security and physical operations (ISACA, 2010). In many organizations today, privacy and security have become the major issues that influence those business and those that are depended upon them. There is a growing recognition, both domestically and abroad that a particular firm may not sufficiently realize its Information Technology as well as the corporate goals without being supported the executives. The many of many firms have realized the importance of such issues because they have come to note that effective and strong network in IT is crucial to not only realizing the goals of that organization but also compliance with regulations and policies, meeting the requirements of the stakeholders and maintaining the acceptable risk level across that organization. In essence, IT security governance, sets the tone at the executive in instigative an accountability culture that subsequently leads to an effective security management.
