Case-studies and advertising are related but are quite distinct from each other. This scenario depicts an advertisement setting. While this scenario provides an in-depth understanding of the wine-making business and variables involved like the capacity planning, advertisements serve to inform us the existent of an issue or situation preferably a good one like the successes involved and how the much needed or advertised quality would bolster the success, for example, the $1 Million capital avoidance CITATION Geo05 \l 1033 (George, 2005). The model, in this case, is being advertised-that it improved the winery stakes. The advantages of the decision support tool have been enlisted as the benefits of the support tool to the winery. This is meant to market the decision support tool as the best choice in management and planning operations.

In this case, the US winery had problems planning their capacity expansion. They wanted to increase the efficiency of the winery while at the same time trying to minimize the capital cost incurred.
