Companies that are started in the current era of the 4th industrial revolution have incorporated technology as a key component of their business processes and have positively leveraged on this advantage. Legendary companies that existed even before the advent of rapid technological advancement have had to undergo digital transformation to incorporate digital technologies into their business processes. The use of mobile applications, software tools, digital devices, processes, and procedures to have some or all the work done can either be excellent or go wrong. Starbucks Corporation and Ford Motor Corporation are the perfect examples to unmask the binary scenarios of digital collaboration.
