One of the things that I most often use is my cellphone. I take it with me everywhere, and in most cases, I use it for making calls, sending texts, watching videos, and taking pictures. It is impossible to stay without a cellphone since it makes communication and interactions easier. I tracked my cellphone usage for over two months and gained new insights into the things that I frequently do on my cellphone.
The findings revealed that I made over 290 calls, and received over 600 calls while the amount of time spent on calls was over 70 hours on phone calls. Based on the data on text usage, I sent over 5000 text messages while receiving 9000 messages. The results also revealed that I spent over 300 hours watching videos, and I had watched over 700 videos from different sources. The data also revealed that during the two months, I had taken over 1000 photos. The data also suggests that I was more active during the first one or two weeks of the month in comparison to the last one week of the month, and this was characterized by a large number of calls, messages, and photos during this period. I was surprised by the findings since it showed that I do get many text messages and that I use text messages more often when interacting with others in comparison to phone calls.
