Introduction
Information security issue is a major challenge in the world of today as it is an encounter that is experienced by many individuals and even big organizations. Improvement of technology has brought about ease in transaction and communication via the internet but, on the other hand, information security issues like cybercrimes have been a drawback to many as it has led to losses and even disclosure of critical information of institutions. Cybercrimes are a great threat to any organization as it leads to fraud and other negative issues to an organization. I have seen organization being defrauded by people and ending up even closing their businesses due to huge losses associated with the crimes. Therefore, as we can say that technology has brought in improvement and development, as well it has its challenges as elaborated below.
Cybercrimes are experienced all over the world as these cases have been experienced at many times and reported severally by different organizations. These crimes are usually carried out by computer experts who mainly hack the accounts of individuals or big organizations such as banks and business organizations (Grayson, 2010). Those who perform this crimes usually have their own intentions, others may be in need of money thus they will target to hack bank accounts in order to defraud banks while on the other hand others may be in need of critical information of an organization or even a state thus they will put their efforts and hack the information.
For instance, many banks are in fear of the cybercrimes as they are the targets in many cases. Several banks have been reporting cases of cybercrimes where they have lost money to people who hack and transfer the money into their accounts.
