The motor vehicle industry has not been left behind in regards to the tech enhancements that continue to characterize the 21st century. Over the recent past, several automotive companies including Tesla and Uber have been at the forefront of developing self-driving and autonomous vehicles. These autonomous cars have not only eased commuting but also mitigated on the impacts of climate change through their environmental-friendly features. Nonetheless, the computer systems that characterize the autonomous cars are prone to glitches that cause fatal accidents. As such, various states in the US are advocating for legislations that would allow drivers to override the computer systems and drive the cars manually.
