My Journey
The United States of America is one of the most beautiful places in the world. The land is blessed with both geographical and manmade features that totally brings out this beauty. These features include historical sites, battle sites, rivers, cities, monuments, and many others. My love for travelling and the interest in learning the American Geography was one of the motivators to travel all over these great places in our land. Winning a Kennedy-Habsburg-Matthews-Hudson Fellowship was a game changer that made this dream come true. I was able to tour around the America and got a chance to write all about my experiences of the awesome journey. Accordingly, this paper focuses on the description of some of these great places I visited, the findings made and all the experiences that came by.

From the South Rim at the Mather point view, I was able to view the canyon using the free park shuttle buses that were offered. I also got deep into the canyon by horse riding through the marked trails just to enjoy the scenery. I got to visit some of the important landmark buildings in the Grand Canyon including: Hermits Rest (1914), The Hopi House (1905) The Lookout Studio (1914) and the Phantom Ranch (1922). There was also a museum and an information center which gave all the information about the Grand Canyon. The park orientation film gave the overview of how this park was initiated and its changes over the years.

The Skywalk
While still in Grand Canyon, I had to visit and use the Skywalk. This Skywalk is an amazing engineering and technology work. The Skywalk is a horseshoe walk completed on March 2007. This was a great idea of a business man called David Jin. It is a glass walkway that stretches out o...
