“The Science of Influence” by Cialdini of 2017 is the online video on persuasion, which I used in this case. In the video, Cialdini explains that persuasion is characterized by three major components, which include: personalization, meaningful, and ability to offer something unexpected. In the video, Cialdini explains that for one to be persuasive, he or she has to create a personal bond and offer/illustrate something which is meaningful/relevant, and that comes a surprise (it unexpected) by the person being persuaded. In my opinion, Cialdini’s video has extensively discussed the issue of persuasion.
After watching several videos by Jeffrey Pfeffer and Robert Cialdini, I believe that Cialdini is more persuasive than Preffer.
