1. What technique was used to select subjects?2. Are there independent and dependent variables?
3. Was this qualitative or quantitative inquiry?
4. Anything else of interest about the research.
Additionally, discuss whether or not the research was pertinent and necessary. Was it timely? Could it have been improved? How will it inform the public and/or public policy?
In this assignment you need to be SURE the research article is qualitative or quantitative. I think many of you will again find informational articles and be a bit confused by that.
If the article is providing data, but not a research hypothesis or research questions, then it is not a research study. We now need to focus on what a research study is.
The point of this discussion is to FIND a RESEARCH STUDY. Not just an article that provides information. Do some research, folks. FIND a true research study. If you find an informational article and want to post it, that's all right, but remember it will not meet the requirements of this discussion board.
RESEARCH STUDIES ONLY, please!

The number of beverages consumed by the two groups also observed that males consumed 5-6 drinks at each setting and females only 3-4 drinks. The frequency of high risk drinking occurred weekly for male students and less than monthly for female students.
5. This research is very important, having four children in college and two of my children are male ages, 22-25. Parents can view this research and really get valuable information concerning the status of their children while they are in college. The National College Health Assessment data indicated that 32% of females and 47% of the male students engage in high risk drinking habits. This is s a very serious problem because of the additional variables added to this crisis , such as low grades, and even failing to meet achieve the minimum requirements for continuing their education. This research was conducted in 2006 and up to this day, this problem continues to exist, therefore it was conducted in a timely manner because the problem still remains. This information was provided from the Internet site ERIC and it is convenient for public awareness and colleges.
writer will have to reference and attach the article as well
