Prepare your essay comparing the missions of each of the four organizations and their influence on the practice of industrial hygiene. Choose one of the organizations, and describe how the passage of the OSH Act of 1970 influenced the foundation of the organization. What is the most significant contribution that your chosen organization has made to worker health and safety?

Thus, occupational hygienists look forward to health and safety issues and come up with preventive solutions. Institutions are liable for the well-being of their team members. As a result, they employ workplace hygienists who can evaluate hazards scientifically and come with substitute solutions to create a favorable environment for employees. Thus, industrial hygienists work to promote public health in industries in the USA. As illustrated by Maloney et al., (2016), the components of industrial hygiene include radiation, noise, ergonomics, biological and chemical hazards, and control of the safety issues. Add a thesis statement that reflects the questions addressed.
Primary organizations that certify industrial hygienists include the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), the American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists (ACGIH), and the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) (Maloney et al., 2016). OSHA plays the role of assuring safe and healthy conditions for staff members by coming up with regulations and enforcing standards within organizations (Takala et al., 2014).
