3-1Multicultural Competence is an ethical issue since the problems that most clients present comes from the various cultures that have an impact on them. The counselors should have knowledge of those cultures. If a counselor lacks cultural competence he will not come to the session, and if he comes he will terminate the session prematurely, and it will end up affecting their physical well-being. To be culturally competent and ethical, the counselor should try to know what he does not know and grow with the client by asking questions that will help to meet best the needs of the client.
