Introduction
In the world where people live today, the use of billions of high-technologies allows for the expansion of new horizons such as building “smart cities” by utilizing personalized and autonomic services. It cannot be denied that these services will improve society. However, with noteworthy changes come significant positive and negative implications arise. Thus, smart cities may become a subject of trust and risk. This is a reflection paper on the sociological impacts of building smart cities.

This is a firm that stores health data. In 2017, a controversy against the company has sprung due to its data-sharing agreement with the National Health Service. This allegedly violates the Data Protection Act (Lorinc, 2019).
