The Kenyan election held on the eighth of August was nullified by the Supreme Court after it was found out that the election had a lot of irregularities and illegalities. Though the verdict was given by a majority of the judges the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) of Kenya was widely blamed for the irregularities and illegalities that took place during the election. Officials from the Independent Electoral body announced that president Uhuru Kenyatta had won the election for the second by a margin of about 1.5 million votes.
