I would address how sustainability and environmental concerns have been addressed in the Via Verde Bronx housing development project of New York targeting low and medium income dwellers. The project not only improved the living environment, but the developers set to improve the surrounding conditions with better and sustainable living is viable in urban settings. The welfare and the social needs were considered in designing the project rather than simply trying to only integrate green building concepts as the residents are important to the success of the initiative.
