Risk analysis is capable of deterring terrorism, as it is assists at the core of decision making processes. Ideally, where the security agencies use the risk analysis reports, they are able to determine the best way they can apply the various scarce resources at their disposal (Ezell, Barry Charles et al.). This is relative to massive elements to be considered when fighting terror (Bjelopera, Jerome P.). The agencies are able to concentrate on the areas that most sensitive, while the rest of the areas can easily be managed with relative ease using less resources as they do not pose a great threat to the security of the citizens and property (Ezell, Barry Charles et al.).
The best approach that can be applied is the RBR, which calls for analysis of the information available with reference to hazards and potential risks. Then develop a plan of action that is associated with the assessment of the incidence ("Command And Control"). After which the agency implements the best cause of action, relative to the information collected and the translations made. This element of operationalizing the plan is then associated with continual evaluation to assess the effectiveness of the plan.
As part of unified efforts with allied countries, it is important that security agencies bring on board measures to collectively raise the standards of fighting insecurity (Bjelopera, Jerome P.). Where countries of allied connections raise their standards, it is important that security agencies in our country also follow suit to match the standards and the efforts in a collective approach.
