Terrorism Name Affiliation/Institution Date Terrorism Terrorism has become a global issue and it has affected at least all humans directly or indirectly. Over the years, terrorist groups like Al Qaeda and ISIL have carried out operations that have left even the world super powers shaken and uncertain of what the future holds for their governments and its citizens. Judging from the recent attacks in Brussels, Orlando, and Nice which have happened in this year, it is impossible to overlook or rule out the possibility of terrorists detonating a powerful nuclear warhead to kill innocent people to advance their evil plans. Terrorists have harnessed the power of technology and have used it to their advantage which has led to callous results. It is indeed possible for terrorists to infiltrate security systems and get access to nuclear warheads and use them against the very governments which manufacture them like it almost happened in South Africa in 2007 (Bunn, 2008). During his tenure, President George W. Bush warned that the US will be forced to intervene if countries such as Pakistan and North Korea continue to acquire nuclear weapons. This was, of course, met with deaf ears since currently, both countries boast of being in the possession of nuclear warheads. It is essential that the world cha...
