How helpful would the treatment planning process outlined in this topic have been in resolving problem areas in your life, when you were an adolescent? Comment on why it would or would not have met your needs.
The treatment planning processes outlined in this topic are essential and helpful to teenagers especially in combating with the menace of drugs and substance abuse. The psychological counseling sessions, as well as the nutrition therapist, has enabled me to fight the dangers of drug and substance abuse (Rudestam, & Newton, 2014). The treatment planning process is effective in diagnosing my family history which the major factor influencing an individual addiction to drugs and substance abuse.

Does treatment planning involve so much paperwork and time that it prevents counselors from providing adequate attention to clients?
There is no much paperwork to deny the counselors ample time to engage the clients. Ideally, the counselors are exceptionally trained and organized to diagnose and provides sufficiently adequate counseling to the clients adequately (Rogers, 2012). The treatment planning process is just a framework which provides the counselor with the basic outlines to follow while providing services to the patients. Professionally, some experienced counselors may not necessarily need to adhere to treatment planning process strictly

Counseling approaches vary regarding how much emotion to encourage. Group therapy ranges from polite discussion to frustrated and aggressive interactions. Discuss how you will handle and address group counseling within the range of these emotional expressions.
As professional ethics dictates, I would not be moved with the emotions or the pending situation of the clients (Waller, 2014). In other words, I would not be empathized with the situation. However, I would discharge my mandates and responsibility with dignity and professionalism prudently. During counseling sessions, the counselors should focus on the issues but not surrounding concerns of the clients. They should move to reduce the frustration on the face of the clients.
Handling group emotions can sometime be challenging. However, for this sake of this situation, I will first categorize the clients with the same condition together. Then, diagnose the exact situation facing them. I will deal with the most serious conditions like the psychological counseling then proceed to behavioral therapy. Possibly personalized treatment plan alongside inpatient care will also be used.
I will not emphasize on the behavior because it is transitional and the client can change it gradually with time. However, the most important thing aspect here is to focus on the most immediate need of the client. Frustration can sometimes leads to severe depression and stress. However, it can be reduced through psychological therapy.
