Jenny describes health insurance for patients to be important because it is one way where individuals can be assured of health security. This makes it easier for them to access medical services during times of need at a minimum or no cost depending on the cover that they have taken (Emanuel, 2014). She further insists that keeping up with the data of individuals is necessary to indicate the amount that has been contributed by each person hence, making it easier to estimate. Therefore, Jenny provides an excellent description on HIPPA and explains the role that they are expected to play.
Deidre provides a similar description of the function of HIPPA. She provides further details that the information that is collected by the organization is shared with other partners to enable reference when clients are in need of treatment. Her arguments are substantial because she tends to understand that patients may default to offer their contribution and thus such an individual should be placed on probation (Nyman, 2003). This is a common practice indicated by Deidre that is challenging if there is no data to show the records correctly.
Deidre is very brief but categorical on this question. She talks about the client’s rights about treatment issues. She further provides insight on what we expect counselors to do regarding providing relevant and basic information about treatment. She offers reasons as to why organizations should provide all information to before treatment (In Selker & In Wasser, 2014). This is very important to avoid miscommunication issues between the organization and the client.
