The Basilica of Santa Sabina is an early Christina church that was constructed in 422-432 BC. It is a very long hall with aisles on all its sides. The building has a great architectural design that includes some artistic touches on the structure, walls, and floors. There are semi-circular arches that are believed to have been influenced by the Roman style. It also possesses an apse and anartheux in addition to the side aisles. There are also numerous Corinthian columns with nave focused attention on the apse, which is positioned in the middle of the building. There is also the elevation, which is in two parts and consists of a colonnade and clerestory. Notably, the clerestory was used to bring light into the building. There are a flat roof and a horizontal focus, which is a crucial feature of many early church structures. The structure was designed using plain brick walls on the outer side. In the middle of the church, there is an apse decorated with an image of Christ.
On the other hand, the Hagia Sophia is located in Constantinople in modern-day Turkey. It was built in 532-537 BC. The building was part of the structures developed during the Byzantine Empire.
