Ethics Cannot be Taught, but They can be Modeled

Essay Instructions:

This space is for you to reflect on what you have learned and make meaning of it. If you have trouble getting started, see the reflection tips below.
At the beginning of the module, you read this short article, Ethics can't be taught, but they can be modeled.Links to an external site.
Based on this article, your discipline’s code of ethics, your own personal code of ethics, and all that you have learned so far this term, reflect on these guiding questions.
Do you agree that ethics cannot be taught, or do you think it can? How so?
Where do you see the connections between morality and ethics?
Thinking about the four actions we can take to cultivate ethical behavior, what are lessons can you take away as an ethical leader? Is there one area that you see as more challenging for you?
As we have learned from this module, culture is embedded into our leadership and our participation in work and society. How do you see your own culture and cross-cultural differences influencing how you actualize these lessons?
In addition to these guiding questions, you are welcome to share any “ah-ha” moments you may have had, or any areas that remain unclear for you. You are also welcome to share any issues you may have uncovered from your Turnitin report results.
Remember:
This is a reflection, and there is no requirement to post an essay with citations. Just speak about what you felt and observed as you went through the learning materials and the activities. Be sure to mention specific readings and/or activities so that it’s clear that you are reflecting on your hard work over the module.

On the other hand, they are not required to wear some attire in the classroom, eat during class lessons, drink alcohol, or smoke. Students are supposed to follow the established code of ethics. Failure to adhere to ethics causes educators to take disciplinary actions. In this case, some students learn ethics so that they can follow them. As such, the school institution teaches the students the ethics they should follow.
