As a woman, I am intensely aware of how my gender identity influences my relationship with the environment. I am often the principal custodian of my home and yard and am responsible for keeping my family safe from environmental threats (Sindhuja & Murugan, 2021). I am also keenly aware of the gender impacts of environmental issues like global warming, water scarcity, and hazardous exposures. Women have a unique perspective on environmental challenges and a valuable role in finding solutions to these difficulties.
My upbringing ingrained in me a love for the outdoors and a respect for nature's wonders. We spent much time in North Carolina's forests and mountains, hiking, camping, and fishing.
