I understand the term communication as the process of giving precise meaning from a receiver to the recipient. On the other hand, it can also be understood as giving, exchanging ideas or signals through appropriate media such as cell phone or face-to-face, which enable people or groups to convince or seek information. Communication also involves giving and expressing information. My definition of communication is functional because it expresses needs and wants succinctly. For example, individuals communicate with the need to pass information concerning their lives or urgent information needing affirmative action. On the other hand, my definition of communication follows direction where the message is sent from the sender to the receiver (recipient). 
My definition of communication is compatible with the biblical worldview of communication. However, the biblical understanding of communication is multifaceted. For example, there is communication amongst God and human. There is also communication between fellow Christians. According to the Bible, communication involving God and people is the most important. Christians believe communication involves the ability to talk and listen as human beings communicate to God (Supernatural beings). As they communicate with God, the initial part is practical listening.
On the other hand, God’s significant traditions of communication with individuals are through the book (Bible) and the Holy Spirit. God is believed to communicate to His followers through the Bible; hence, human beings equip themselves with the Bible (Nehrbass, 2014). My definition of communication also entails communicating through word of mouth or writing information on paper and sending it to the recipient.
