One of the main experiences in this class was my exposure to the role that gender plays in the way we approach different aspects of our lives. I have enjoyed each lesson in this class in a way that I have learned new social and psychological views on gender. Most importantly, I have engaged my own past experiences to understand the critical aspects of feminine gender roles. Furthermore, I have learned how female gender has been viewed and perceived in the U.S. Therefore, the role of age, gender, and societal perspective has shaped the lives of women in the U.S. and across the world.
