Thus, in most cases employees, are good and if they do not share common goals then they are most likely to have conflict. Taking into consideration the interests of employees leads to lower absenteeism and turnover (Bolman & Deal, 2011). Since, organizations are composed of groups; managers need to be involved in team building, and if this does not take place employees are likely to have a bad attitude towards work through exhibiting questionable behavior. Thus, effective leadership in an organization creates harmonious working relations, and ineffective leadership leads to questionable employee behavior, as employees seek to reduce dominance of ineffective leaders.
The organization context affects employee satisfaction, which in turn influence their behaviors in the work place. In essence, organizations that seek to look into employee satisfaction typically have adequate reward mechanisms, as well as open communication channels. Consequently, satisfied employees tend to a positive view of organizations, enabling better service delivery than unsatisfied employees do. Additionally, satisfied employees are more likely to be loyal to an organization and hence more dedicated at the work place. Thus, there is a direct impact on customers and clients, who feel that there is quality service delivery. Furthermore, leaders in an organization can motivate employees to accomplish goals, and this is likely to have positive impact on employee’s attitudes on work and the organization.
